On August 15th, Solar traveled to Edmond, OK and played in the "Beat the Heat" tournament after a mere four practices together. They advanced to the semi-finals losing to the eventual champions, FC Dallas Youth, currently ranked #1 in Region 3.

Thompson's Fall Classic, October 18th-19th Springfield, MO (click for full info) Solar advanced to the championship after receiving the maximum points in group play and the most of any team in the pool. They lost in a shoot-out to Avalon FC, after an evenly matched and well-played final.

Metro United Fall Classic, November 1st-2nd, Caseyville, IL (click for info) Solar made it to the finals but lost 1-0 to Mequon FC Red (WI). It marked their second final in tournament play in the past two weeks.
